The manipulation of soft tissue to provide relief from muscular tension, pain, postural problems or for relaxation. Consultation and assessment are used to determine what hands on techniques are best suited to the presenting condition. Traditional Chinese Medicine (Tui Na)
The Shiatsu & Tui Na clinics are performed by 2nd year students. They incorporate a variety of techniques which include stretching, meridian and acupressure therapies, massage and also cupping and moxibustion. Treatments can be just for relaxation and well being, as well as for specific problems. |
