Directions '08 Conference

CIT is one of the major sponsors of the Directions ’08 Conference, 13-14th April, Canberra.

The ACT Department of Education and Training is hosting the inaugural Directions conference, a new initiative for careers and vocational educators.

The Directions conference will be an annual event to promote vocational education and training and career education as an integral component of school and college curriculum.

Directions '08 conference overview:

The Directions '08 Conference is part of the professional development strategy for vocational learning and career educators in schools across the ACT. The key strategic directions for the conference will be to provide:

• A national perspective of careers and vocational learning;
• A variety of concurrent workshops, which will be the catalyst for professional discussion, debate and future innovation in educational practice and;
• A forum for stakeholders to promote synergies between vocational and career professionals.

Date: 13th -14th April, 2008.
