Accommodation
The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) has accommodation available in three student residences situated in the suburbs of Reid, Bruce and Macquarie.
A large range of homestay options are also available located conveniently across Canberra. Rooms are allocated to International and Regional male and female students using a fair and equal selection process.
All of the residences are self-catered by each student and provide comfortable fully furnished single bedroom accommodation that includes:
- Phone line
- Heating
- Shared kitchen
- Bathroom
- Laundry
- Living rooms
- Television and VCR
- Car parking
All residences are located in close proximity to public transport, shopping centres and CIT campuses.
Monterey Apartments and Bruce Campus Residence provide wheel chair access for disabled students.
Each residence has the same policies, procedures and house rules. These are outlined in the handbook and contracts issued at commencement of a students first term in residence.
Applications for accommodation are accepted throughout the year from international and regional students over 18 years of age, who have been accepted to study a full time couse at the Canberra Institute of Technology.
