Prizes and Medals

Institute Prizes

Prizes are presented annually at May ceremonies. The following prizes are available for graduands and all Centres are invited to nominate one graduand/graduate.

1. ANU Prize
2. Employment ACT Prize
3. Rotary Club of Canberra City Prize (2 Prizes)
4. Rotary Club of Canberra-Weston Creek Prize
5. University of Canberra Prize
6. Zonta Club Prize
7. Canberra Districts Masonic Association (Freemasons) Prize
8. University of Canberra Prize (Certificate in Pre-Tertiary Studies)
9. The Len Barratt Award for an Indigenous Student

The recipients of prize categories 7 and 8 are from the Vocational College.

All students who completed their program requirements in the previous year are eligible to be considered for the prizes.

Institute Medals

Institute Medals - Presented bi-annually in May and October. Each Centre may award one medal. Nominations for medals are based on the academic achievement of graduating students.
