Regional at CIT
The main aim of this venture is to promote and sell the marvellous produce of the ACT region to the budding chefs and past students in the hospitality industry, industry representatives, customers who frequent the Tourism and Hotel Management Centre, students from other CIT centres, parents, teachers, residents from surrounding areas, Defence personnel from the nearby Russell Offices and the general public. Regional@CIT will offer ACT and the surrounding regions, local produce including:
With all produce available under one roof; customers/clients are given an eclectic choice of quality products to purchase and sample. Our aim is to establish and maintain repeat business by providing customers with a unique experience each time they visit the store. Producers will be provided with storerooms and walk in refrigerators to store their produce. Staff will be trained by the CIT to order, receive, merchandise, sell and account for the products taking away the hassle of trading. The recently established Regional@CIT shop is located at the ground floor of Building K in the Tourism and Hotel Management Centre at Reid Campus on Constitution Avenue. Ample parking spaces for its patrons is available opposite the shop. The Centre Director, Mr Stuart Walsh said "The Regional@ CIT shop will offer local producers an excellent opportunity to sell their product in a co operative arrangement in an excellent facility and location".

Regional@CIT is a new exciting regional based co–operative retail and wholesale food outlet in the Tourism and Hotel Management Centre which opened on the 20th October 2006.
